Multicomponents Intake Hopper Doors set the GOLD standard in the market.
The intake hopper doors are affixed to the throat of the floor intake section that helps to carry the garbage or linen through the vertical duct of the chute. Our doors are supplied with our Garbage or Linen Chutes and can also be supplied for separate fitting as independent or replacement hoppers, if required. All of our intake hopper doors are 120 minutes fire rated as per Australian Standards AS1530.4-2005.

The bottom- pivoted, top opening hopper door is used mainly in chutes handling garbage. The door opens a full 51º to provide a convenient slide hopper opening with side checks to reduce spillage.The side frame, door panel and tray are made from 1.6 mm thick Stainless Steel 304 grade, thus having excellent resistance to corrosion. The pivot pins at the bottom enhances the durability of the hoppers as it is less likely to break as compared to piano-hinged doors. It also ensures that the design is seamless, suiting today's modern infrastructure. It is also air-tight to prevent the entry of foul air.

The side-hinged, left or right hand opening hopper is used mainly in chutes handling bagged linen or other bulky items within hotels, hospitals and residential buildings. The door swings opens a full 180º from closed position for full access to the intake opening, allowing for disposal of large bags of linen. Multicomponents’ Linen Hopper Doors are designed for safety & comfort for users, while providing the security required for such an environment. To meet the high standards expected from hotels and hospitals, our Linen Intake Hopper Doors (side frame, door panel and tray) are the only intake hoppers on the market that are made entirely from 1.6 mm thick Stainless Steel 304 grade.

ELECTRONIC INTERLOCKING

INTAKE HOPPER
Our Electronic Interlocking Hopper Doors with a Master Control Panel are used to enhance the health, safety and security of garbage and linen chute systems as they are designed to allow the opening of one door at a time. When one hopper is in use, all other chute doors will remain locked with a light showing another door is in use. Maintenance personnel, by means of a switch at the Master Control Panel, can also lock the system when servicing the chute or when cleaning procedures are activated.

INTAKE HOPPER
Our Segregated Garbage (Recycling) Intake Hopper has an intelligent and efficient design which allows the user to select one out of the two or three buttons available i.e. two for Wet/Dry or three if more segregation is required. It is a self- closing, self-latching, noiseless, bottom-hinged hopper, with the same high-quality Stainless Steel 304 grade finish.
